Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Do We Have Enough (“DWHE,” “the Service”), operated by JLOOP (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating or participating in an event, or by opting into SMS alerts, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
DWHE helps hosts invite people to events and track whether enough people commit (“IN”) for the event to happen. Access is typically by email invitation links; you do not need a password account to use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and provide accurate contact information (email and, if you opt in, mobile phone number).
3. Event invitations and RSVPs
Hosts are responsible for the events they create and the people they invite. Invitees control their own RSVP responses. We may send transactional email related to invitations, RSVPs, event status (ON / OFF / needs more), and optional notification preferences you enable.
4. SMS / text message program
If you provide a mobile number and consent via event Notification settings, we may send automated SMS messages related to events you are invited to, including:
- Event invitations (only if you enable SMS invites; reply IN, OUT, or 50 to RSVP)
- Verification codes to confirm your phone number
- Alerts when someone is IN or OUT
- Alerts when a headcount goal is reached
- Alerts when an event turns ON, OFF, or still needs more people
Message frequency varies with event activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS. Reply HELP for help. You may also disable SMS preferences on the event Notification settings page. Consent to receive texts is not required to use the rest of the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by inviting people without a legitimate reason, attempting to spam or harass others, or interfering with the Service’s operation or security.
6. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that messages will be delivered without delay or that an event will occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JLOOP and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
